Every clip we'd make a reel from, with its first and last lines. Hover a picture to watch the start with sound (tap it on a phone); click it, or Edit →, to go straight to editing that clip. Press ✕ on any that aren't good enough: it's gone for good and another from the set takes its place. Scroll down for more. Adjust start & end moves a clip's in and out points a line at a time. Nothing is rendered until you say so. Audience members are in their own colour.

Getting started…
To start or end it somewhere else, move the playhead there and press ⟦ Start here or End here ⟧ under the preview. Drag sections on the timeline to change the order, or drag a section's ends to use more of the video. Click a word to cut it or put it back. Double-click a word to correct it. Click a faded word to start or end the reel there. ··· is a pause that was cut. Audience members are in their own colour.
Drag the preview to move the shot in any direction, or use the sliders.
A punch-in pushes the picture in on your face for a moment, usually as the punchline lands. They're the nodes on the timeline's Punch in row: dashed ones are suggestions (click to add), solid ones are in the reel. Select one to choose how far it goes in (1.2× to 2×); drag its ends to change how long it lasts. Or move the playhead and press Punch in here.
Shift-click any word in the transcript to mute it (or unmute it).
Louder or quieter: the bars on the timeline's Volume row. Move the playhead and press the speaker to add one; drag its ends; select it to set its level here, or press Delete to remove it.
